WEEK TWO
Monday, 25th November
Ben managed a couple of hours to remove the radiators, gear box plus props, and a few more bits from her.
Tuesday 26th November
Ben had the engine, fuel tank and a few more bits off onto the pile.
Wednesday, 27th November
Ben is in early -
roof spoiler, cab interior wire, pipes, all manner of things being chopped
off her! All around lay ERF parts that were hand fitted at the Sandbach
factory a few years ago! The afternoon was spent discussing what Ben requires
for the following week:
1) A shot blast of the chassis
2) New lower profiled road springs
3) New front disc axle
4) How to lower the chassis ride-height as well as the cab height?
Need to get on the phone and think technical!
Two weeks over already!
18 weeks to complete the project!
Will she be ready in time??
