THE TEAM, THE TRUCK, THE CALENDAR &
COMPETITORS FOR THE 2002 SEASON

This is an 'on the spot' account of a Season's Truck Racing with Steve Horne (Double British Champion - 1998 and 1999) and his Team, as they travel across Europe to contest the 2002 British, Anglo/French and some European events.

If you enjoy the spectacle of Truck Racing, when you read this report you will be able to get inside the Team, the Truck and its Driver on their travels, doing battle on the Track, and the preparation at Base, leading up to a Meeting.

The Driver has written this report, Race by Race, to bring you, the fans to visualise life for a busy Director of a thirty vehicle, Logistics Company, who also, has a weekend job, Racing Trucks!

His Team has no current sponsor, and is self-funded against brand new Trucks with heavily sponsored, factory backed Teams on the Track.

He enjoys writing his passion up on paper for you to read, but wants to see how many fans of Truck racing are left out there!

The best letter or Email received during 2003 showing support of Steve Horne and the Team, British Truck Racing, and comments how best to start a Race, will win a place on his Team for the Donnington, November Event. Whatever the writer's age or job description, a weekend task will be found to use their talent!
